Mladenovac is a Belgrade municipality with about 60,000 inhabitants located in the northern part of Šumadija. It is located on the main roads of Serbia. The railway and the Belgrade-Niš highway pass through it. There are 9 primary schools and two secondary schools in the settlement. Mladenovac abounds in objects of sacral culture and archeological sites with remains from prehistoric times. Thanks to the rich natural environment, Mount Kosmaj, Lake Markovac, Selters Spa, Pavlovac Monastery and the archeological site of Jablanica, it has become a tourist destination for excursion, spa, recreational, cultural, historical and event tourism. The architectural structure of the city consists mainly of residential buildings in the narrower part and houses and cottages in the wider part of the municipality. Given the proximity of the city of Belgrade, real estate prices are very affordable and the demand for them is growing.
