Kragujevac is a city in the southern part of Serbia with 150,000 inhabitants. It is the economic, cultural, educational and health center of Sumadija and one of the largest industrial centers in Serbia. It got its name from the bird Kragujevac, which inhabited nearby forests and was hunted bac in the middle ages. What is characteristic of this city is the fact that it has 11 faculties so that Kragujevac is inhabited by an increasing number of students and hosts several international music and theater festivals. Kragujevac with its natural environment has great potential for the development of tourism, both sports and recreation and hunting, fishing, health and rural.
