Leskovac, Srbija

Leskovac is located in the Jablanica district of central Serbia with about 150,000 inhabitants. It was named after the hazel forests, and their hazelnuts. Archaeological discoveries speak of the existence of the settlement as early as 6200 BC. n. e. The city was inhabited by Dardanians, Tribals, Avars, Celts, Romans, Byzantines and that is why a large number of cultural and historical monuments and archeological sites can be found in the vicinity of the city. The largest picnic spot in Leskovac is Pasha's Fountain and is suitable for sports, recreational and hunting tourism.
