Zagorič is the largest settlement in Podgorica in terms of both space and population. It stretches from the Vezir's Bridge on the west side, the hill of Gorica on the south side, and the Belgrade-Bar railway on the east side. It was named after its location (behind Gorica). According to the latest census, Zagorič has over 16,000 inhabitants.
