Zagorič is the largest settlement in Podgorica in terms of both space and population. It stretches from the Vezir's Bridge on the west side, the hill of Gorica on the south side, and the Belgrade-Bar railway on the east side. It was named after its location (behind Gorica). According to the latest census, Zagorič has over 16,000 inhabitants. Initially, it was a rural settlement composed of private houses, but in the last decade, it has increasingly attracted the interest of construction companies for the construction of larger residential and commercial buildings. The buildings are located in a quiet environment with lots of green areas and free parking spaces. Nearby, there is a forest park and a trim trail with numerous facilities for recreation and sports.
