Kolašin, Crna Gora
Kolašin is a small town in the north of Montenegro that stretches along the rivers Tara and Morača and below the mountain peaks of Bjelasica, Sinjajevina, Komovi and Vučje. Due to its altitude (about 1000m) and favorable climate, it is known as the Air Spa. With the high mountain peaks that surround it, Kolašin is recognized as the largest tourist destination in Montenegro for winter tourism. On the mountain Bjelasica, a modern ski resort-Kolašin 1600 has been built, which abounds in exceptional terrains for skiing, hiking and excursions. The canyons of Tara, Morača and Mrtvice are known in the world for their natural beauty. In terms of height, the Tara Canyon ranks second in the world, while the Tara River is one of the cleanest rivers in Europe and is rightly called the "the Tear of Europe". There are several luxury hotels in the city with cuisine based on traditional Montenegrin dishes.
