The Vezir's Bridge is located on the Morača River, built in the 16th century by Mehmed Pasha Sokolović. The bridge was completely demolished during World War II and then rebuilt. Although its name was changed, it remained popularly known as the Vizier's Bridge. The location of the bridge on the river Morača and the proximity of the city center proved to be excellent for the construction of new residential buildings. Thus, in recent years, several multi-floor modern buildings with many exclusive apartments and business premises have sprung up around the bridge. Nearby, there is the high school in Podgorica, the stadium of the football club Budućnost, a large number of cafes and restaurants, and the hill Gorica with its various facilities for sports and recreation. Thanks to the proximity of the city center, the river Morača and the gymnasium, apartments on the Vezir's Bridge are in great demand for both buying and renting.
